In the summer of 2018 I had the privilege of working with a spectacular group of individuals in The Spark Group, a boutique digital marketing agency in New York City. The description below comes straight from The Spark Group website, and is intended to give a background of the agency I worked with and the work I completed.

"We are a collective of creators. We design, develop, wonder, strategize, manage, idealize, optimize–and we do it because we’re passionate. Passion grips us, enamors us, motivates us, pushes us to seek truth and meaning and reason and that’s why we give a shit. Why should you?

Well, because you know what you do and why you do it and who you do it for, but do they know that? Does your message mean something to your audience? Does it give them a reason to want? To need? To inspire change? To incite action? Do they care about what you do?

We’re here to make sure they do. You dedicate your precious time to making good products and good services, to improving your industry–and we’re here to tell people why. We dedicate our precious time to share your story, whatever it is. Whether your message is to drive sales, drive engagement, spread awareness, spread love, increase loyalty, increase action: we’ll keep telling it to whoever you want it to reach.  And we’ll find different ways to tell them until they’re listening, really listening, not caring about time or money or fear or effort just knowing that what they’re being told means something.

And that is something to give a shit about. So…

What’s your story?" - The Spark Group

Client Channel Overview

This dashboard was created in Google Data Studio by Amy Brightman of the Spark Group for the purpose of informing the client of the analytics on their various campaigns.

In lieu of me adding SEO planning and client reports to my portfolio (due to confidentiality reasons), The Spark Group has allowed me to share this report to display what I contributed to within my internship term. I have experience with all of the platforms mentioned in the report, as well as Google Data Studio itself.

Client Keyword Plan

I was tasked to create a Google Adwords Search campaign for a client. This PDF was formulated in Google Sheets. In it, I estimated that the keyword lists I created could bring the client around 13,500 clicks and nearly 60,000 impressions within a month for the budget they were willing to spend ($2,000). The keywords also had an estimated 8.55% click-through rate, over four times that of the average for the real estate industry (2.05%). The estimated figures come from Google's Keyword Planner.

The keywords were gathered by a combination of Google Keyword Planner and SEMRush where I compared our client to competitors. For the sake of brevity in the PDF, I cut off the list because the original had over 2,500 rows and also removed my method of filtering the data.
